And for you that you can catch her when you need to!
The raffle quilt looks great..I really like that pattern.
About the ants..if they aren't the chewing variety, how about using some ziplock bags and sealing things up? I know they make the bigger ones that would hold quite a few mixes. Wouldn't help what has been destroyed, but better a few ants than a hurricane!!
And if they are chewers, how about ice cream pails or even clear sterilite tubs? Anything to get the dry goods safe from them.
Hope you can get it on top of it soon. Hugs, Finn
P.S. I would love a block from you..*VBS*Finnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17677133672404343036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24252963.post-9524311537532031562007-07-20T09:24:00.000-05:002007-07-20T09:24:00.000-05:00I can hardly wait to see the quilt show--when you ...I can hardly wait to see the quilt show--when you lay all those lovely quilts over the pews of the church! Our guild is toying with the idea of doing a quilt show in that same way! I am so glad you sent something to the local paper about your chairty efforts and to invite others to see all those lovely quilts laid out in all their splendor. Many children have benefited in the past from your generosity and I am sure many more will continue to benefit in the future! Bless you and your group for your efforts!Normahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17921807595542164387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24252963.post-78256267381579947022007-07-19T10:43:00.000-05:002007-07-19T10:43:00.000-05:00Hey, that raffle quilt is wonderful! Everything went into ziplock bags for a while. I think there's something organic that can keep them out and not kill you and Pippi. I research it.

Poor Pippi, pixel got that way too with going to the vet. Hope she's doing better.

The quilts are amazing and you and your gals have done a superb job of keeping them coming! We sprayed inside and outside, but they still came in, though not as many. I was happy to get to SD. It took about a week to kill the rest of them, but finally there were no more! The mouse fell out along the road somewhere. =)

Hope Pippi gets good results on her lab work.

The raffle quilt is beautiful!Susanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09159163720029661287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24252963.post-81752338285253047482007-07-18T22:43:00.000-05:002007-07-18T22:43:00.000-05:00Funny you should mention Blueberries...Ed and I ar...Funny you should mention Blueberries...Ed and I are trying to decide if we are going to pick at the farm in Coquille or take a bit longer drive on Saturday and go to Langlois to pick...we shall see.

Pam@
www.pamgwillim.comPamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11243644854761363185noreply@blogger.com
