Plans for 2014

Late September/October plans

  • replace my little basket around my pin tin ala Linda of Buzzing and Bumbling snack tray or fabric basket tutorial    done October 4th
  • Replace the existing hot iron cover but may need to modify the pattern from Kay's Quilt Hot Iron Holder    done October 5th
  • Sewing machine mat---there are free tutorials but I want mine bigger  done October 11
  • Cafe curtain to disguise the wires on the computer desk    done October 9
  • Another chicken pincushion??    done October 2nd
  • Mug Bucket from Buckets Gone Wild   done October 8th
  • AND pacie clips!
  • Sewing Basket liner in the RWB fabric  done October 7th
  • Wonder Wallet to match executive tote   done  September 29th
  • Koin Keeper to match executive tote      done October 3rd
  • Jane's ipad/tablet stand   done September 29th
  • Whatcha Got Bag  done October 3rd
  • I also added on a new replacement machine cover and recovered my Take Along Sewing Mat which were not on my list--week of October 13th
  • Zip Zip Bags---cut and kitted

Long range
Personal projects I would like to do and/or finish up
  • Farmer's Wife Sampler  #32 to 110
  • Finish Christmas Joy---last seen August 08


  • Basket Button Up--personal 
  • Something with the layer cake from a couple Christmas ago
  •  A purse with accessories---4 fat quarter one or the batik one
  •  Table pad thing with pockets for sewing at the church


Donation quilts---many options but these to start
  • Criss Cross foundation pieced Crossed Canoes type quilt
  •  4 patch posie in BQ 1 set and another in Framed set
  •  Twisted Sister--- need backgrounds cut
  • On Parade with that fabric and stripe I have been looking at for a month or so
  • Boardwalk with those fallish type strips
  • Granny Square one or do I keep that one?

GIFTIES

  • Cher's thread catcher, similar to Norma's
  •  Mom's purse from the tapestry material
  •  Baby quilt in mid June     pieced but still needs back prepped and quilted
  •  tree skirt when find out the wedding day    mailed out to them in late September 
  •  Pacie clips for Lily

ONGOING
    • embroidered blocks basket blocks
    • Seasons in a Row----left off with May or June

IF I HAVE TIME AND THE INCLINATION
  • Judy's Country at Heart BOM---probably is two tops 
  • As always Oxmoor Christmas quilt---one of these days!
